Owensboro vs. Boyle County at Lindsey Wilson (Scrimmage 8/16)

Featured Replies

Quisenberry with the INT and then a 50 yard TD reception.  16-0 Boyle

11:00 left in Q2

19-7 at the half.

Hampton turns a 5 yard out into 40 yard scamper.  TD.  We are missing Winstead and Crowe.  I like Hampton at WR really.  Open field.  Rebels control LOS mostly.

Also #1 WR still out.  Morris

Boyle scores on a Rushing TD.  Bad snap on XP.   25-7 3rd.

Owensboro fumbles and the rules they are using Boyle will have it after they move the ball back to the Boyle 25.

32-7 Boyle on a 16 yard run by Turner. 4:27 to go in 3rd.  Looks like Boyle is starting to sub.

I’m out.  Gotta get up early and run 10 miles.  Go Rebels!

I had 29-14 during varsity but I must have missed a 3 pointer by Boyle.  I didn’t see Hampton at all in 3rd for O.  Owensboro scored its 2nd TD on a drive  still varsity but each team had 1’s, 2’s 3’s in at that point.  Boyle did what it wanted and controlled LOS.  Great scrimmage but this is a 31- 7 to 42-14 game if it’s played out regular field position etc.

O’s big challenge is the O line - not sure how good they are yet.  Losing Winstead and Crowe are huge losses on both sides of the ball.

Boyle really dominated this scrimmage being honest. Both the O line and D line was impressive. Demauriah Brown was the better RB in this game also.
