JV playing the 4th qtr I'm out. Pioneers look pretty good!

Pioneers have alot of weapons on offense and at least 14 kids over 250 on the oline.

Every year SK has big kids up front but outside of the Selm kid they are all soft and slow.  I have not seen this years squad but if they are anything like the past few years I am not impressed.  I guess maybe you can just try to get those big bodies on smaller guys and run the football.  Lex Cath is usually pretty good so based on the scrimmage SK could be much improved.  Time will tell.

No shortage of the big boys in Independence. They looked physical tonight on both ends of the field. Only concern for me with SK is the defensive backfield but held up pretty well against a Lex Cath squad known for the air attack. Lex Cath looks to be a little down and Simon looks to be up. A more complete Simon squad than previous years.

I was reading the LexCath thread. They was talking that LexCath would be good this year.

22 is Freshman Mo Smith he played for Turkeyfoot last year. He is going to be fun to watch. SK looked great on offense.

Freshman?? SK needs to find a way to hold onto him. It’s obviously early but he looks like a future star.

Yea he is pretty tall for a Freshman.

If I were a SK fan I wouldn’t get to excited about last night…LC lost their entire offensive line 2 deep …no one that played last night had any snaps on offensive line … D line is the same because those guys went both ways.

SK lost there entire oline and dline as well. Read the LexCath thread several people talk about how good they will be this year. Maybe SK is just the better team.

SK has around 85 players on the roster this year.  They are able to platoon this year. It should be a great year.
