I particularly liked him in "Kelly's Heros" and "Space Cowboys," two films I never tire of watching. RIP Sgt. Oddball. 😔 Donald Sutherland, the tall, lean and long-faced Canadian actor who became a countercultural icon with such films as "The Dirty Dozen," "MASH," "Klute" and "Don't Look Now," and who subsequently enjoyed a prolific and wide ranging career in films including "Ordinary People," Without Limits," and the "Hunger Games" films died (today) in Miami after a long illness ... DragonFire Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 I was just watching Backdraft a couple of days ago - he has one of my favorite parts in the movie. Great actor, bummed for him to pass on. And yes, he was awesome in Kelly’s Heroes. One of my father’s favorite movies.
Tranquility Base Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 RIP. Always forget he was also in "Animal House"
