Reds win 6-3 in 10 innings. A big game for Spencer Steer with a double and HR and 4 RBI's. Elly had 4 more K's tonight to go with 1 hit in 5 at bats he now so far this season has had 11 official at bats and already have 5K's. 

A good job by the pitching staff with only 2 earned runs in 10 innings in the win tonight.

Sounds like Bryce Harper, who is hitless on the season so far with 5 Ks.

Nice to see some winning games in March/April.

I still have scar tissue from a few seasons of working at GABP when they started like 3-18.

Well Bryce Harper gets his first hit of the season on a homerun to straight away center field and the Phillies lead 1-0 still in the bottom of the first inning.

Very shocked that Encarcinan-Strand made two junior high level fundamental mistakes that I thought spring training would have cured.  In the first India was hung out to dry when ES failed (as on deck hitter) to be anywhere signaling him to slide on the high throw to the plate.  India was out on review and would have been easily safe had he slid .  ES fundamental error #1.  #2 came later when he was the lead runner on 2nd with no outs and a slow dribbler was hit to the short.  He watched the shortstop for at least six strides as he fielded the ball and narrowly nipped him on the force out.  Now ES will never win a race, but had he dug 100% from contact he may have made it safely to 3rd.  Come on ES, 100% mentally and physically.

A double by Will Benson to tie it at 1 in the top of the 3rd. This is already Benson's 4th double of the season.

Harper gives the Phillies the lead back at 2-1 on his 2nd hit and his 2nd homer of the season.

Reds give up another run in the bottom of the 6th and trail now 3-1.

Phillies get another run on Elly error and now lead 4-1 with just 1 out in the bottom of the 7th.

Well Bryce Harper put this one away with his 3rd hit of the season and his 3rd hit of the night which also was his 3rd home run of the season a grand slam to now lead 8-1 . The 5 runs were all on Suter 4 of which were earned.
