Mingua Beef Jerky Girls' Sweet 16® to Tip Off at Rupp Arena - 3/11/24

The 2024 Mingua Beef Jerky Girls’ Basketball Sweet 16® is set to return to Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center in Lexington starting Wednesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. ET.

All 15 games of the tournament will be broadcast live on khsaa.tv to subscribers of the NFHS Network. Fans can listen to live audio of each game for free on khsaa.net. The games will also be carried statewide through the Morgan & Morgan/KHSAA Sweet 16® Radio Network.

Why does the KHSAA do the bracket the way they do? Most go top to bottom in order of time and date. 
 

The Thursday bracket is an abomination.

I'll give you a hint... its green and rectangle-shaped.

When you get Sacred Heart/GRC in the 1st Round, you're not playing it at 11am

The first round of the 2024 Mingua Beef Jerky Girls' Basketball Sweet 16® starts today inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center with Bowling Green and Owsley County at 11 a.m. ET, followed by a 1:30 p.m. tip between McCracken County and Russell. The evening session features Butler and Anderson County at 6 p.m. and concludes with Franklin County and North Laurel at 8:30 p.m.

Bowling Green, McCracken County, Butler, Franklin County, Bethlehem, Henderson County, Sacred Heart and Cooper advance to Friday's quarterfinal round.

Sacred Heart earned its fourth straight and eighth Sweet 16® championship in school history.
