South Oldham 61 Oldham County 60 (29th District Semifinals)

?? Nice win Dragons! Another Top 25 team has its postseason cut short.

South plays KY No. 8 North for the 29th District title Friday.

Big win for the Dragons!!

Tough break for the Colonels, a good team that dealt North Oldham and Wofo their only losses within the 8th Region. Someone of consequence in the 8th wasn't going to make it out of this district.

On an individual note, this wraps up the career of Max Green, the state's leading scorer and an all-around dynamic player. He went out on his shield with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

What a career! Will he be playing anywhere at the next level?

He's committed to Holy Cross - formally known as The College of the Holy Cross - in Worcester, Massachusetts. They're a mid-major program that competes in Division 1's Patriot League alongside schools like Army, Navy, Bucknell, and Colgate.
