What I know about L.R. Central and Chicago De La Salle would slip through the eye of a needle, but I'm assuming they aren't coming 500 miles to lose.  However, setting them aside, I think Great Crossing, Newport, and Trinity are the 3 KY favorites, and I could conceivably see any of them stringing together a few great nights to advance to the final.  Newport is a little more up-and-down, but on the up nights can win this entire thing.  Their floor is lower though, and G.C. and Trinity could both get them by 10+ as well.

L.R Central is top 50 in Nation and has the best player in Arkansas who has committed to Missouri in Annor Boateng. With that being said King of the Bluegrass usually always has 4 out of state teams and this year only 2 and none of them come to lose but everyone can not win and the Kentucky teams always do more than hold their own. I do not think you can limit just three Kentucky teams as I can as many as 10  teams from Kentucky winning this thing and feel it is very wide open and could be any of these teams Male, Fairdale, Newport, Washington County, Great Crossing, Trinity, Bowling Green, Harlan County, DeSales, Frederick Douglas. I think all those teams as well as Little Rock Central could win this thing which makes for a outstanding tournament

The first round matchups of Newport vs. Washington County, Bowling Green vs. Harlan County, Frederick Douglas vs. Desales are just must watch games. I am taking away from none of the other games as there are lots of them but those three stick out to me in the first round

I went with Arkansas team but I wouldn't be surprised if Kentucky team wins.

This will be our first look at Chicago De La Salle @The Double Deuce. We'll see them again at "The Battle at the Villages" tournament the following week; they're on the other side of the bracket from Cov Cath.

Per MaxPreps, the Meteors (7-1) are currently ranked #40 in Illinois; #12 in 3A (2nd largest class).
