Eagles at Chiefs Updates

In a rematch of last years Super Bowl. This is only the 9th time in NFL history that the two teams that played in the previous years Super Bowl met up the next season. It should be a good game I wished the weather would have been better.

After a drive by each team the defenses were both excellent. The Chiefs first drive to start the game was 3 plays for a total of -5 yards that included a sack of Mahomes. The Eagles first drive was 3 plays for a total of -3 yards and a sack of Hurts.

The Chiefs march it down the field on the 2nd possession with a 10 play 80 yard drive to lead 7-0.

The Eagles answered back with 9 play 75 yard drive to tie it at 7.

Should be a good game, I’m watching.

Chiefs get another touchdown to go up 14-7. This is after Hurts threw an interception and Mahomes threw an interception in the endzone.

Pick play by the Chiefs. Those are basically impossible to stop when teams get to the end zone.

That last 2+ minutes were not good for the Eagles. They called their timeouts to get the ball back after the Chiefs scored, but their offense had a 3 and out then a bad punt and the Chiefs got 3 more to end the half and now lead the Eagles 17-7. The Eagles will get the ball to start the 2nd half and to me if feels like they need points to stay in this one.

I think Jalen Hurts knee is worst and we've been led to believe I think he seems to be moving very slow.

Eagles get back in it with a nice drive capped off by a 12 yard QB run for Hurts to make it now 17-14 Chiefs with 4:05 left in the 3rd quarter.

He hurt in the first half against the Jets and came out and played with a knee brace the 2nd half and to me he just hasn't looked the same to me.

That was horrible after Kelsey’s fumble, needed to produce more than that.

The Eagles need to do something here, not going to keep stopping the Chiefs on offense. Chiefs in all probability win with no Eagles points here.
