Been around awhile..... can't remember that occuring. I had told my wife in August that would be a great classification.

In 4A it hasn't happened since we moved to six classes in 2007.  

2010 was the previous high for the class with three teams. It's also one of only two seasons when undefeated teams met in the semifinals.  

2023 will be the fourth meeting of undefeated teams for the 4A Championship title in 17 years.

✓ 2010 Semifinals: Three undefeated.

Allen Co.-Scottsville (13-0) d. Western (10-3) 

✓ 2008 Semifinals: Two undefeated. 

Bell Co. (13-0) d. Boyle Co. (13-0) 

✓ Championship game between undefeated: 

• 2009

Boyle Co. (14-0) d. Lone Oak (14-0) 

• 2010 

Boyle Co. (14-0) d. Allen Co.-Scottsville (14-0)

• 2019 

Johnson Central (14-0) d. Boyle Co. (14-0)
