While Missouri may be better than the teams behind them, they have zero shot at the CFP. Meanwhile Louisville one spot behind, does have a path into the CFP.

No they don’t. Even if Louisville wins out, they won’t get into the CFP. The ACC just wouldn’t be represented in the CFP if Louisville wins out.

If they were to win out, I’d be perfectly fine with that result. ACC Champion and playing in a NY6 bowl isn’t too shabby.

They would need some help but there is a path. 

Loser of OSU/UM shouldn't got in over a 1 loss ACC Champ.

UGA beats Bama, they are out.

Washington beats Oregon again, they are out.

Then you would need Texas to lose in Big 12 title game or one of last two regular season games. 

That would put two losses on every team ahead of the Cards except UGA, UW, and B1G winner who would all be undefeated, the B1G runner-up and FSU the ACC runner-up.

I think it would be hard for the committee to put the 1-loss UM/OSU loser in over a 1-loss ACC Champ. Especially considering Louisville would have just beaten the third ranked Seminoles.

Simply stated the Cards need to win out, have Washington, UGA and B1G champ to all finish undefeated and Texas to lose to anyone.
