Highlands is really good, but coaching is an issue at Dixie.

How do you get a delay of game on your first offensive play?  You're first play should have been decided days ago?  Does Burke not go by a play script at the beginning of the game like everyone else?

 

Secondly, why did they have 6 in the box against a team they knew were going to smash the ball down their throats?

 

Good luck to Highlands, they look like Dale's old teams and are rocking and rolling.

So, I will agree they are the favorites, but to say they are some distant untouchable in 5A is comical.  

Its an opinion.  And nor being on even footing does not mean untouchable.  Not being on even footing means Highlands, in my opinion, is better.  I would think Bowling Green would be a very tough game but since I have never seen them I don't know their strengths and weaknesses.  Again I have my opinion having watched every Highlands game this year and how they are progressing.  That being said don't anyone beat up the Highlands faithful as I am not one.

It wasn’t a delay of game. It was a false start due to movement from HHS defense followed by another false start due to an air horn. I was still on that end of the field when it happened.

I saw the false start, but I swear the official signaled delay of game.

It was most definitely a delay of game.  You can check the YouTube broadcast at the 25:45 mark.

The first 5 yard penalty was in fact a delay of game. The 2nd consecutive 5 yard penalty was a false start. Whatever caused the 2nd one resulted in the CoY pointing to the bleachers complaining about something. Regardless of the noise, I would have thought this CoY staff would have had their team better prepared.
