Final Test Before The Knights And Cards Plunge Into The Postseason

Records: LexCath (5-4) | Scott Co. (8-1)

BGP Rankings: LexCath (#3 in 3A) | Scott Co. (#4 in 5A)

Week 10 Results: LexCath beat Pendleton County | Scott Co. had a bye week

Series History: LexCath leads 6-2 all-time

Teaser Preview: Lexington Catholic's non-district schedule ranks as one of the more challenging in the state. Battles with Highlands, Corbin, LCA, and Boyle County gave way to a cakewalk through the district by a combined score of 161-0.

The Knights will sharpen their iron once more, as the Cardinals migrate south to Lexington.

The Cards aren't coming to make friends. They have their own agenda. Like LexCath, Scott County has designs on playing for the ultimate prize.

Class 5A is loaded with great quarterbacks at the top. Jackson Wasik will provide Scott County with one last opportunity to hone its secondary against one of the state's best. He picked that unit apart last year, with 267 yards and three scores, badly outplaying Andrew Hickey, who completed one pass to his own team and two to the Knights' defense.

The Cardinals rode 'old reliable', aka the running game, to victory that night, ending Lexington Catholic's six game run in the series.

Interesting game on what I think are two very close teams.

Will this be streamed anywhere?

Scott County 35-13

They will dominate the the fading knights.

If Catholic can force Scott Co to go away from their base inside run, I think they win. If Scott Co can get 3-5 yards every run play that sets up their misdirection/big hit run game. I think Catholic is big enough and discipline enough to get stops. I got Catholic 27-24

When is the last time Catholic took away anyone's base run?

When is the last time Franklin Co beat Catholic?

They clearly won't shut down their run game, I said they would score 24. In order to stop the Wing T/Double Wing, you must be discipline assignment football. Catholic will do that. It will come down to tackling them in the open field
