DeSales 21 Jeffersontown 18

Featured Replies

Final. The Colts hang on in the waning moments and turn Jeffersontown away at the goal line. This puts DeSales one win away from an outright district championship. They can clinch it next week with a win over 1-5 Doss.

Jeffersontown's lack of a kicking game bit them hard. Three touchdowns, three missed two point conversions, and no field goal attempt at the end to tie the game.

Congrats to the Colts! Closer than I thought but W all that matters.

Following on Twitter it sounded like an exciting game. Congratulations to DeSales and Mike Jackson, who definitely has the rebuild going in the right direction. I'll add, I'm always happy to see some of the lesser-known JCPS schools have success and J-town seems to be on the right track.

Entertaining but frustrating game! DeSales gave up a pick six, two 60-70 yard touchdown bomb`s. I believe stopped in red zone twice on downs. Ball hiked over the head of punter with 14 seconds. Pass on next play inside the five. Penalty on next play put it half the distance to the goal line on the one. DeSales stops a 6`5" 230 running back on last play. Jeffersontown played hard and I thought they were going to walk in on that last play! Was hard on an old guy`s ticker!

Congrats to both Teams on great seasons.

Love to see it.

Good job Colts -  in spite of the miscues.

Always love the program that D has.

Good luck to both going forward.
