Meeting regarding the future of the 10th region tournament

Featured Replies

There is a meeting today for the powers that be to decide the format for the 10th region tournament. If I hear anything I'll post it here, and hope anyone else will do the same.

There are a couple of threads already out there on the restructuring of the 10th region tournament. Probably it will be mentioned about the 10th region tournament at Montgomery County next year since it is that region's turn to host it next year.

I agree, if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Hey you guys are preaching to the choir here. :thumb:

Now that the boys will have to play the next 5 years (I believe) as the girls have been playing, it is considered broke.

In someways I it may need a little "tweeking", but come on there's no other facility that can hold the tournament like the fieldhouse.

I agree. But that decision for next year is based upon the opinions of those schools in the region that houses Montgomery, Paris, Bourbon and GRC. They will decide where it is hosted next year.

And Montgomery should be given their chance. If all goes well then so be it. If not we know where the tournament should be played then. But Montgomery has earned their chance.

I agree. Im saying it needs to be held at 1 site whether it be at Mason or Montgomery

If Montogomery can hold the regional then that's fine, but they nowhere near have the seating compacity the fieldhouse has, but give them their shot and let's see what happens.

When NKY has thier turn and the 9000+ seat Bank of Kentucky Center is complete-- which is enough seating, what will we have for an excuse???

There is 1 question in my mind about the new facility at NKU. How much is it going to cost to rent that place? I think that would be an issue
