Birds Of A Feather Don't Always Flock Together

BGP Rankings: Scott County (#2 in 5A)

Records: Scott County (1-0) | Great Crossing (0-1)

Week 1 Results: SC beat MadSouth 51-7 | GC lost to Franklin County 21-23

Series History: Scott County leads 5-0 all-time

Central Figures: Of Jim McKee's 246 career wins leading the Cardinals, only five have come at the expense of Great Crossing. But every win over the Warhawks is a bite to savor, as McKee is fighting to keep his program ahead of their fledgling neighbors. Providing him with backup this season is quarterback Andrew Hickey, who is in his third year orchestrating the wing-t. He has a seasoned, productive trident of backs - Fryman, Hughely, Feickert - to help bear the load. Hickey's GC counterpart is potential breakout star Jeremiah Clark, a southpaw dual-threat playmaker who will provide a stern test for Scott County's standout defensive backs Paul Garner and Buddy Collins. Leading the Warhawks attempts to disrupt the wing-t's rhythm will be linebacker and last year's leading tackler Zach Morris and defensive lineman Joshua Strayer.

Scott Co. with a running clock.

Even with the 2 injuries from Friday night,  I don't think GC has gotten 43 points better since last year. GO CARDS!!

Bump.

Postponed until 7:30 pm tomorrow.

Bump.

After just seeing Franklin Co. defeat Bryan Station and how well GC played them this game might be better than I thought on Monday.

Mine is working fine.  I would close everything out and try again.

I think it is 7 to 0 GC.
