I have not seen Carroll play this year but it does seem that they are having a down year. I know they lost there big guy last year. Walton is coming off a tough loss to SK in a game in which they played very well. So I will take Walton in this game by 8. What do you think?

Carroll has been playing better ball the last few games, and if everyone is healthy (another post indicated one of their key players had a sore back) I look for Carroll to give Walton fits. Carroll by 3.

Walton is the better team. As long as everyone "shows up" they will win by double digits.

Is Dave Miller the coach for Carroll Co.? I rember his teams at Pineville were well coached and had success, he wasn't there very long though.

I think this is his 2nd year at Carroll.

If Walton will play like they did against Simon Kenton last Friday they should win by double digits. Daugherty , Roberts and Zwick need to stay off the bench and on the court.

Carroll's lost their last 5 games by an average of 15 points so i'm not real sure how they've been playing much better. Walton-Verona by 12.

:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Carroll by six!!?? dont think so!!! Walton just beat them by 28.!!! and that was with the jv players in halfway in the fourth..! ha

Looks like WV is ready for the All-A. Good win. That's twice I thought CC was ready to come out of their shells and pull an upset. NO MORE for me. Time to start playing the underclassmen and get ready for next year.

Carroll is about 1-2 years away from being a great ball team. They have lots of talent but they just do not play well together. Their Soph class and Freshman class are really strong so hopefully they will pull together by the end of this season or this summer.

 

A good sign that things are not going right is when players get technicals by mouthing off at the ref or when players must sit out because of mouthing off to the coach.

 

It is frustrating to watch. I saw the team leading Gallatin at Gallatin at half time and then just fall apart in the 4th quarter.

I was at that game. (GC vs CC) That 1st half is what made me think they would make a run at WV. Boy was I wrong.
