January 13, 200719 yr Very surprised that Lofton missed that free throw, and then even more surprised that Lofton didn't get the ball to take the last shot. I know he had been struggling most of the game from the outside, but you got to put it in your best players hands at the end of the game...
January 14, 200719 yr Great effort by UT. As limited as they are with talent, it always seems they are able to control the game. Big shot by Lewis! UT (and Lofton) struggled from behind the arc. Lofton was crafty down the stretch in finding ways to score. Oden was a beast and and looked about 55 today. You think UT is limited with Talent? Im not trying sound rude, I just think they are pretty talented myself. Those big men (Chism, Crews) are athletic, they just went up against a better big man today in Oden. Jajuan Smith and Ramar smith are slashers that can score and Chris Lofton is the best shooter in the nation. I watched them play teams like Memphis and Texas earlier in the year and it doesnt get much more athletic than those two teams.

The Vols are a solid team, but the talent level of them and teams like Ohio State this season aren't in the same league. Ohio State SHOULD have won this one going away, but the Vols didn't quit and were in a great position to pull off the upset.
