Exactly the type of half UK needed. Just keep your foot on their throats.

Let's keep burying them, make a big statement and ride momentum into March!

May be one of the best halves the Cats have played this year especially on defense. Hopefully than can close out the last 3+ minutes strong as they lead 27-15 at the under 4 timeout.

  • Kentucky struggling to prevent offensive rebounds.  There's going to be a lot of free throws late in this one.  Kentucky desperately needs to knock them down.

These refs have missed some very obvious calls today.

Kentucky stops the bleeding some, still leads 45-31 after the first media timeout of the second half.  Kentucky in for a fight here.  And only two fouls away from Tennessee shooting in the bonus already.

Zeigler and Ado both with four fouls Tennessee - that helps an awful lot.  Meanwhile, officials blow a call on an out of bounds giving the ball back to Tennessee, and they can another three - lead down to 11.

Tennessee 4/7 from three in the second half after being atrocious in the first half.  Kentucky trading twos for threes right now - need the Vols to cool off from outside.  Tennessee shooting 67% so far in second half, nearly 8 minutes in.

51-41 at the under 12 timeout.  Vescovi has 15 of Tennessee's 22 points in the second half.  He had zero in the first half - UT had only 19 in the entire first half.

Oscar just picked up his fourth foul with 10:39 left in the game.  They're bodying into him down on the block.  I respect he doesn't flop trying to get a charge but they've picked up multiple fouls on him doing that.

Cats lead 55-43 with just under 10 to play. If we can get 4 or 5 good minutes from Collins here could be huge. Then we miss a front end and Collins gets a cheap foul. I'm getting a bad feeling I hope it is the 5 guys I had for lunch. At least the Vols miss their front end as well.

With Oscar out we give up a 3 to cut it to 9 on a second chance offensive rebound.

The lead is down to 9 at the under 8 timeout we need to keep it at this until Oscar gets back and when their point guard Ziegler gets back for them with his 4 fouls.

Cats currently 18-23 from the line thank goodness is only 4-11.

Kentucky keeps missing free throws, but at least rebounded a miss.  Ended up stealing the arrow from Tennessee as a result, so a poor trade but not nothing.

Toppin blew a rebound too, smh....

We missed our first two front ends and have missed 4-6 FT' s since then.
