Why is this score shocking?  A team's record can be deceiving based on who they have played.  If Mercer played Anderson's schedule so far they could be undefeated too.  Mercer played #3 Mercy at the time the 1st game of the season and was tied with 10 seconds left.  Mercer has played atleast 4 top 25 teams in KY.  They played ranked teams from VA and TN.  How may top 25 teams has Anderson played so far?

I get you're a huge fan (hence "Titan" in your name), and certainly records can be deceiving based on SOS, but please don't act like anyone saw this coming.  Mercer County was pretty disappointing at the QOC, getting doubled up by Pikeville, and then beaten by 25 by Bethlehem.  Mercer is undoubtedly better than their record, but this result (and holding them to 27 points) is absolutely in the "shocking" category.

Hopefully Mercer jumps off from this point and we look back at this being the turning point in their season!

I don't know what about my name would tip you off that I was a titan fan lol.  Thank you "Mr. Obvious". It is high school basketball and teams on any given night can have off nights while another team is lights out.  You can look at a lot of these teams and pick out a few games that are head scratchers.  Pikeville played lights out against Mercer and Mercer had an off game and the score was lopsided.  I have seen Pikeville in other games and they look very beatable.  They got beat by North Laurel by 21 earlier in the season and Bowling Green by 17.  Bethlem got beat by Assumption by 13.  Mercer beat Russell at QOQ and gets beat by Rowan.  Russell then beats Rowan by 21.  Mercer lost Timber Yeast a Miss Basketball candidate and D-1 signee in a scrimmage right before the season starts.  Throw that in with a really tough early season schedule and going to have a few losses.  Anderson is better than they played the other night but you flip flop Mercer and Anderson's schedule and both teams have completely different records right now.

I meant no disrespect to either team but the SCORE was shocking.

I would expect more offense out of Anderson for sure, but as stated before by others, teams do have off nights.
