Hardwick also won the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.  Brumment I feel had his best game of the season last night.  Boyle is on a whole new level now.

I agree. Hardwick is one tough kid!

This Boyle team has improved more than any other team I can think of in recent years. '17-'21 teams were all great at the beginning of the year but this team had a lot of room for improvement after the first couple of games. Coach Haddix and his staff deserve a ton of credit for getting this team peaking at the right time.

I’d love to hear the final stats of the game. Bodner had another monster game.

He had 185 yards rushing.   He had 194 the last game.

KHSAA states that Bodner had 201 yards on 30 carries against Central. How is there that much of a difference? Genuinely asking. I’m sure the answer is it is two different stat keepers but which one is more official? I suppose it’s really not important. Either way, impressive performance.

I got it off the unofficial official stats.  Lol

The kid from Central didn’t have a very good game against us

As you said either way impressive.  I said at the beginning of the year if we win again this year it would be Quissenberry who would lead the team to the trophy.   Now I’m thinking it could be Bodner.

Could be one of many things.  Could be the spotting as there is no half yards.  You either go back a yard or forward a yard, with 30 carries that could be the difference.    Also Boyle does a shuffle pass that most would considered a run but officially it's a pass as it's a forward toss and not a lateral.

They might give him a yard when we might go back.  Plus I lot of people will count the little pitch forward a run.  It is not a run but a pass.

Right. Thank you!
