How about that headline.  Per his Twitter page Evan will be leaving the Maysville Sports editor position and also the covering  of the 10th&16th regions in sports.

Evan makes the long forever trek down the AA highway to Link Nky as the new Sports editor for Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.

His new office will be officially a few miles if that from Holmes HS which last I heard did have an internet connection at the school.

Hopefully this move works out for all and we get great coverage of all NkY sports.

Hate to see it for the 10th Region folks but what a giant pickup for coverage in the 9th Region. Dennison has been a go-to guy for football updates on Friday nights and his articles the next morning are great as well. Best of luck to him and hopefully the Ledger Independent can find a good replacement in time for basketball season.

Evan is awesome, and it is certainly a great get for LinkNKY...but man, this headline of this thread sounds so ominous.

Big loss for the Ledger Independent, hopefully their leadership team can find a great replacement, but those are huge shoes to fill.

I edited the title to make it more precise.

This is a huge pickup for NKY sports, congrats Evan and thanks LinkNKY!

I understand @theguru, but click bait is what sells the story.  ?

We try to stay away from click bait and what sells the story is the work ethic of Evan Dennison.

Will he be joining us in Bardstown Friday to cover Mason County vs. Bardstown?  If so I will have a pork chop sandwich ready for him in the booth!
