The Panthers opened up the first round with a 63-0 thrashing over Lynn Camp in the first week of the playoffs.

The Harlan Green Dragons opened up with the Sayre Spartans in round 1 .and put an absolute beating on them 42-7.

Who wins the 2nd round matchup between the Pikeville  Panthers and The Harlan Green Dragons? Does Pikeville continue to flex its muscle? Does Harlan come to Pikeville and shock the 1A world?

I always love the underdog story, but I don't see Harlan getting the unlikely win this week.  Pikeville dominates this game.

Same. Harlan's had a great season and they're just a few plays away from being undefeated. What little bit I've seen of them, they look like a tough, physical team. But when you're up against an opponent that also possesses those attributes, as well as vastly superior talent and pedigree, it's an uphill climb, knee deep in the mud.

Birchfield's probably looking at another early night at the office. Get him a handful of carries to stretch his legs and then pull him.
