Unbeaten Braves Hosting Underachieving But Dangerous Scotties

Records: Union County (10-0) | Glasgow (6-4)

BGP Ranking: Union County (#3 in 3A)

Series History: First ever meeting? Nothing since at least 1998

Table Setter: The opening round of the playoffs typically draws less interest than any other week of the season. And rightly so. It's mostly chalk, with only the slimmest of chances for a true upset. This matchup in Morganfield is one of the marquee games among 1v4 seeds.

Union County is trying to make the crossover from wrestling powerhouse to gridiron contender. A perfect regular season has them sitting at #3 in the class 3A rankings, a position solidified by a win over Paducah Tilghman.

Glasgow peaked at #3 several weeks back, but stumbled to a 2-4 record over the back half of the season and plummeted from the rankings. Still yet, this is a dangerous first round opponent for a one seed. The Scotties were considered a top contender at one point and any team with Keiran Stockton shouldn't be taken lightly.

I'm gonna go with glasgow.

Glasgow can compete if they don’t have a bunch of turnovers and plays just a little defense but if they are the turnover machine they were against FS they have no chance.
