So back when there were 2 schools in Boone County, they had a good run, heck a good year or two, maybe three.  From 1998 on, from what I could find on KHSAA's website, Trosper has taken the team the furthest of any coach in the last 30-40 years.  Hopefully the original post I quoted was in jest.

I went back and found this on BGP for Conner:

Runner-up in 1980 and state champs 1983.

They made it to the 3rd round in 1993 and 1996. Lost to Cov Cath in '93, and lost to Highlands in '96. That's the furthest they made it in the playoffs in the 90s.

I'm missing a few years in the 80's, but here's what I have for Conner. Of the seasons I have, it looks like the only ones that had playoff runs were 1980 and 1983.

1981 (5-5)
1982 (8-3)
1983 (13-2) - 3A State Champs
1985 (4-5)
1986 (5-5)
1988 (1-9)
