Trinity (4-4) will host St. Mary's (MO) (6-1) after a 14-9 loss to Ballard. St. Mary's (MO) is coming off a 45-14 win over De Smet Jesuit (MO).

Trinity's defense played well against Ballard holding the Bruins to 7 points, but the offense gave up a pick 6 which was the difference. The offense only had 126 yards total offense against a Ballard defense that may be there best in history. As Trinity is accustomed to, the schedule gets no easier as St. Louis power St. Mary's comes to town.

St. Mary's is ranked #4 in Missouri according to Calpreps.com computer ratings. St. Mary's will roll into town with 3 D1 players. 3-star Missouri commit RB Jamal Roberts, uncommitted 3-star WR Chase Hendricks, and Kansas St. commit 3-star CB Donovan McIntosh.

Looking at Calpreps.com ratings, Trinity has played a tougher schedule than St. Mary's, and Trinity is rated about 2 points better than St. Mary's so this looks like another competitive game for the Shamrocks but playing at home may give Trinity the extra edge. Last year, St. Mary's defeated Trinity 22-19. Does Trinity get back on the winning track or does St. Mary's make it two in a row?

  • I think this is a game that is almost impossible to pick.  Based on T losing last week and playing at home I will take the Shamrocks in a close game.

The Roberts kid is very, very good...Not quite what Moeller has (or the OL for that matter), but man he's a big dude that can run! He looked pretty solid last year against us but he has gotten better

Good defensive effort by Shamrocks 1st half.

I have no idea. I picked St. Mary's just because Trinity's offense is hard to figure out. They score 34 against Cincinnati St. X but then score 9 against Ballard. I wouldn't be shocked if Trinity ended up winning but I'll take St. Mary's 21-13.

I think this is a toss up game. What could be the difference is St. Mary's having two D 1 weapons on offense at RB and WR. I'll say McLaughlin kicks a fg and the Shamrocks win by 3.

He looked pretty solid last year against us but he has gotten better and will be a challenge to our front 7. We will definitely compete with these guys and I think yet another close game could be in the books. ☘️

Pooch kick fair caught at the T 35.

T to the SM 40 on a QB run.

A pass got deflected down on the goal line and SM intercepted it and ran it back to the T 15 where an OL made the tackle.

0 to 0

T stopped SM and has the ball on their own 7.

End of 1.  T has the ball, 0 to 0.

T made about a 50 yard FG to go up 3 to 0.  I will get the exact yardage in a minute.
