Dish TV just shut off ESPN over contract dispute!

This is awful about 5 minutes ago all the disney channels (ESPN) just went off!

Dish says they offered to keep the contract open while they continued to discuss the new contract but disney refused to work through it. Basically Disney forced dish to remove while they continue to negotiate.

    Same thing happened with YouTube TV a year or so back. It was resolved by Sunday afternoon. The only issue was that I had to go in and re-add each channel to my lineup. It took me a few hours to realize that after they had been turned back on.

    All Disney owned channels are now back on dish.

    Companies that own multiple channels do this all the time with Dish, Direct and (insert local cable Co here).  All to get a couple extra bucks per subscriber.  Disney and the Discovery networks are particularly bad.
