Throwing at hitters after a HR, stealing a base if you're ahead 6-0, bunting for a hit in the 7th inning to break up a no hitter in a 3-0 game, grooving an 85mph fastball to a guy trying to break a record, etc.

I know what the unwritten rules are, I just didn't see the application in this instance.

So you think he was given the homerun?

It was a 93mph pitch on the outside edge that he hit the other way... Most hitters try to pull that and pop-up. It also gave up the lead in a 1 run game. I'm not saying it never happens, but I don't think that's what happened here.

What "unwritten" rule was broken in this instance? Nothing in this situation is covered by any unwritten rule.

Albert now at 703 homeruns and has now passed Babe Ruth for second place all-time in RBI's behind only Hank Aaron. Pujols has 2,216 behind Aaron's 2,297.

Albert should do a "Brady" and keep playing.
