I’ll add, I’ve always liked the Legends park but I hope the KHSAA keeps baseball at UK. Kentucky Proud Park is perfect for this event.

The Lakers fail to further close the gap, leaving two on.

5-1 X

Bennett, Gregor, and Akers due up in the top of the 5th.

X is threatening to put this one out of reach. Bases are loaded with one out.

Still 5-1 Tigers.

St. X team speed has given Russell tons of trouble. Easy plays are close, close plays are safe. Russell hasn’t caused that type of trouble with their base runners.

A Purnell double clears the bases. And the Tigers may not be done yet.

8-1 X

One swing by Jardina doubles in Purnell and ends Luttrell's night. Pitching change forthcoming. Looks like it's going to be Nick Aaron relieving Luttrell.

9-1 X

X 10-1 going to bottom of fifth. Tedesco in to close it for the Tigers.

RC goes in order to conclude the 5th. X will look to deliver the knockout punch in the top of the 6th.

    10-1 Tigers

Honestly this X team is special congratulations Tigers!

RC lives to bat another inning. Still 10-1 X, moving to the bottom of the 6th.

St. X is on the verge of ending this one in mercy rule fashion with the bases loaded and one out.

    10-1 Tigers
