Per Eric Chumbler, McCracken County boys basketball coach Burlin Brower is retiring.  He coached for a total of 13 seasons with a 313-128 record, and 4 regional titles.

Will be interesting to see who the Mustangs turn to next.

Given the people running things at McCracken I would look for a quick and easy hire. Long coaching searches take time and research which is not the way they operate. 

That being said they have a couple guys on staff that are really strong candidates.

A 1st region coach was mentioned to me by my son. But I would like to see Coach Shumpert to be the next coach.

Nothing new about a coach at McCracken County, of course its Western Kentucky and very few have opinions across the state on things in the West.

Dustin Roberts long time asst. at McCracken County for all 9 seasons has been hired as new Head Coach.
