Basically because they can. It shows me how important winning is to some of these players. It is becoming an individual sport in a team concept. The grass is seldom that much greener.

I am surprised after they did something that hadn't been done in 40 years at UK. The timing is just very strange to me.

Exactly. They made a nice move in the women's game and would be strong next season.... just not enough. It's just becoming a "me" situation.

The Princeton team that defeated them by 7 in the tournament had only lost 4 games during the season, albeit playing in a weaker conference than the SEC. They lost in the second round to a very good Indiana team by 2 points. They were not an easy game for UK by any means. If the ending to the season is one of the reasons the three are leaving that isn’t a good reason. I suppose it is a combination of things. Edwards must have been a discipline problem. She was suspended twice during the season. She’s a good player but someone that stays in trouble with the coaches a lot can be disruptive to the entire team.
