I think he knows enough basketball to boost a program that hires him, the guy can turn a mediocre program into a contender.

So sort of similar to a certain coach named Cal that you complain about all the time who he himself turned mediocre programs into contenders long before he landed at UK. And he even made those teams more of a contender than Wade ever has. So sort of funny hearing you defend this guy, when you do nothing but criticize a guy who accomplished ten times more than Wade ever has when Cal was at other programs before UK.

I thought the thread was about Wil Wade? Cal doesn’t have anything to do with this topic.

Sure he does. I was drawing a comparison to what you said about Wade being about to take mediocre programs and make them contenders. Which that comparison is like how Cal took mediocre a program like a Umass and made them a true contender and got a final four. Or took a struggling program in Memphis and made them a true title contender, which they really haven’t been since he left. Shoot then even took a struggling UK program and got them back on top.

So yes it very much is on topic with what you said. Drawing a comparison on Wade and a coach who truly has taken mediocre teams and made them contenders at multiple stops.

Wade will land on his feet soon!
