Mr. Basketball?

Featured Replies

Who are the candidates for Mr.Basketball and who do we think are the leaders for the award? Will be interesting because most of the top talent in the state is in the 23’ class.

The 23 group certainly seems to have more talent than 22.  My initial thought was Maker Bar, but I really don't know.

Mr. Basketball shouldn't be restricted just to seniors IMO.

I agree, should be just player of the year regardless of class. I was wondering if Rylee from CCH has a good shot, seems like he’s done the most for a top team that’s a senior. Been truly dominant all year.

I feel like there’s a lot of momentum behind Buttry. I don’t know if any of that would be blunted if they fail to get out of district, but he’s been very, very good, and he’s an EKU signee, so he’s endeared to that area. Averaging 23.2 PPG, has hit nearly 100 threes and shooting 51% from deep. Bowling Green would probably be 5-6 wins worse without him (maybe more).

Ha...ya think?  ?

The Class of 2023 may be the deepest and most talented class in the history of our fine state.
