If someone could explain Highlands to the rest of us, it would be great.  Great result one night (since they've been fully stocked), head-scratcher the next.  

Congrats to Coach Richey and the Birds, this is a very nice win to head into districts with.  They will play Bellevue, at Bellevue, looking to avenge their 1st loss to them, in the District semis.

Ludlow needs to regroup quickly before playing the Lady Cru in the 34th semis.

Injuries and having to play lots of underclassgirls, including 8th graders.  

Did you see the stats on this game, Marisa Green went off!  Double Double...  Team shot well from 3s.....gotta work on Free Throws for the post season though....10 for 25, ouch!

It looks like they are still missing CC though, didnt see her in the box score for this game. I dont know what is wrong with her, if its temp or what.

Ludlow was without the service of their starting point guard last night which made a big difference in the score

Hope she is back for the 34th Semi's vs SHDHS.  I said this to someone today, and I mean it, not wanting to sound mushy, but I think it would be a horrible shame if Jenna Lillard's career wouldn't end without her at NKU this year for the 9th Region Tourney.  If only for a game, she deserves that -- and yes, I know every kid "deserves" that, but I would love for her to get that opportunity again this year as she departs on the heels of an AMAZING career.
