Bell County grad. Was an lineman and place kicker for for Dudley Hilton's 1991 3A Champion Bobcats team and played in the 1993 KY-TN All-Star game.

I believe he started off as an assistant under Coach Hilton a Bell Co, and then took the head coaching job at Jackson County. He was the Generals' head coach from '09 through '11 and ended up back at Bell when Dudley returned.

The delay in announcing was because he moved from Florida.  Where he was a coach.

Where had he been coaching in Florida?

Carter was clearly 45 years old the year Bell County won it all!

The last time Marion rebuilt their program and made it to the state semi-final, to be defeated by Lone Oak, was under head coach Jeff Robbins.  Also a Bell County grad that played for Dudley Hilton.

Awesome guy! I played with him as teammates in the Ky-Tenn All-Star game and we were also teammates at Union College after that!
