Bowling Green 62 Pikeville 61 (Ashland Invitational Tournament)

Recommended Posts

MJ Wardlow cans a step back three at the horn to win it for the Purples. Deuce Bailey was the unsung hero, running down a missed BG three and sending the ball out of bounds off of a Pikeville player to keep possession for BG. The game winner came moments later.

Here's the play back:

Watched a lot of this one - fantastic back and forth game.  Buttry took a poor shot trying for the go-ahead late, and Purples got a clutch rebound and knocked it off Pikeville to retain possession.  The Wardlow game-winner came on a well executed screen to get him loose, and he buried it from the wing.
