Wow, Male is as good as they are ranked. I was hoping for a 10th region preview in the final but this has been far from it.

Male just too big and physical for the Cards tonight. Preston Knowles and Josh Wood made all tourney team.

 

I want to complement the Male team and their fans...very classy program. I had the pleasure to meet Doug Beaumount's dad, very nice man. Doug Beaumount is quick as a cat and all round player.

They did have a great showing this week without Jones. He could have made a big difference in the game tonight.

Great tourney by the Cards, and a very good job representing the 10th region!! They will be a handful for anyone when Jones gets back. Knowles was as good as anyone I saw this week!! Male is going to be a real load for anyone in the state!! Should be a good game tomorrow night against the homestanding Knights!!

Was Male just bigger and stronger than GRC? From what I've heard GRC can get up and down the floor with anybody, so this score kind of suprises me. For the record I don't know much about either team.

GRC was within 9 points with around 4 minutes than back up to 12. GRC put the subs in the last 1 1/2 minutes of the game. All 11 players played. Robbert Hatton ( GRC) was sick and did not go to the game.

Yes Male was bigger and more physical inside. Tristian Jones would have made a difference inside tonight. Beaumount is very quick and can shoot. Great all round team. Best team GRC has faced this year, and they have played South Laural, Madison Central, DeSales and Holmes.

The Bulldogs, runners-up in the King of the Bluegrass last week, played great. They shot 55 percent, had only six turnovers and committed just two fouls.
