If Dynes and Krohman play how they did tonight, and SK seniors play well and hit shots then I think it’ll go down to the wire.

North Oldham with the 8th Region's biggest win of the year tonight, defeating CAL by 14....setting the stage for a big one on Friday!

North Oldham's talented all-region center, Ian Higdon vs 7'2" Gabe Dynes....

8th Region Player of the Year candidates Dallas Roberts (North) vs. Isaac Miller (SK)...

Travis Krohman (SK) from the outside vs. North's Jack Scales (11 of 28 threes through 4 games)...

The last time these two teams met, it was in the semi-finals of last season's 8th Region basketball tournament and the two teams put on one of the most exciting games of the year.  Kelly Niece of SK and Dallas Roberts of NO put on one incredible show that kept everyone riveted to their seats....Niece had 27 and Roberts 25 in the slugfest, won by North Oldham, 66-64.

North returns practically that entire squad - including POY candidate Roberts.    SK is hardly devoid of weapons, though, as they feature a POY candidate of their own, Isaac Miller.    

North returns all-region center Ian Higdon (6'6") and Luke Anderson (6'7") on the inside....SK counters with the tallest center in the region in 7'2" Gabe Dynes.

Jack Scales (NO) and Travis Krohman (SK) will be the featured outside bombers.   Krohman tied for the lead at Simon Kenton last year, hitting 45 threes at 38% - as a freshman.   Scales has already hit 11 threes in four games for North, and is averaging just over 15 ppg.

SK is hitting over 49% from the floor so far in three games....both teams feature 3 players averaging in double digits....North will be playing at home....this really is shaping up to be another nailbiter between the two.   

North Oldham leads the all-time series between the two, 2-1, including the last two games.
