I'm fine with this. If there isn't snow on the ground I would prefer it be atleast in the 50's around here.

Winter like temperatures should come into Kentucky the week of Christmas. Chance of accumulating snow from Christmas to New Year's weekend. Remember we are about three weeks away so there's really no way of predicting how much snow if any at all. The Climate Forecast Model has been showing the snow chances. We will get a better read when the time period comes in the range of the GFS.

While I don’t love the cold, 50’s and above in winter around here generally is accompanied with rain and damp dreary weather. Sure it’s warm, but it’s usually too wet to do anything fun. At least you get sunshine with cold temps.
