Not saying they cannot. You have two legendary head coaches and a style/philosophy that is a departure form what CAL usually faces.

Additionally, if Belfry faces them you bring arguably the most dominant and electric player in Class 3A into the picture who can completely change a game's complexion himself.

With that said, CAL on the surface appears to be the team everyone is chasing. Their balance will be a stiff test for either team, especially on the road.

 

If I were predicting this week I would take CAL by 2-3 TD's over either.

    END OF 1ST 0-0 Belfry's first drive fell apart. Bell had a nice drive into Belfry territory stall out after a holding penalty. Belfry currently driving into Bell territory.

    Easy half of the bracket thus far has really played to their strengths. If there’s a next week it will be tougher, but Belfry looks like a really good club right now.
