Good luck to both of those teams! Both are outstanding and deserve to be playing for a championship. Two SENSATIONAL quarterbacks. If you want to see two budding superstars, come watch these two young men sling the ball. 

I'm curious what the playoff/divisional format was this year? I thought it was pretty clear that Beechwood's 7th grade team, which lost only two these two squads, was the third best team in the league. Hearing speculation and rumblings that the antiquated silly format was kept to ensure one team would - barring exceptional circumstances - would earn a berth.

There’s only an 8 game season. With two divisions of 4 teams. Small school division has 10 teams. Agree it may need to be re-evaluated. Top 4 teams should make it regardless of alignment. But it’s hard with the current set up. Maybe start the games a week or 2 earlier?
