Good game. Clark played 10 players. Only 2 minutes into the game Preston Knowles goes out with a cut over his eye. He returned mid-way thorugh the 2nd quarter. He ended up with 37 points. The Cards did not have one of their better games...but a win is a win. Proud of you guys.:thumb:

They are going to be really tough when they get him back, if he is 100%. If he plays like he is capable, I really think they will challenge the Royals for the 10th title.

Our bench is getting such valuable PT time now, we will play 10 players every game...will be a big factor come post season. Also Tristin had been averaging 19 points and 10+ rebounds...add that in and GRC will be very dangerous.

 

So glad to see Stenzel back in action tonight.

:thumb: He is a tuff kid. The cut over his eye tonight was reopening of a cut he recieved in the Estill Co game and required stitches. This one will too. He only played 3 quarters and scored 37 points.

GRC better hope they don't rush Jones back too soon and let him heal fully cause with Knowles scoring 37 of the 65, according to my math that is an average of 3 points for the game from the other 9 players. Night in and night out against quality opponents I don't think that is going to get it done but hey Knowles is special, you gotta give it to the guy.

We will take some licks till we get everyone healthy. What I love about Preston is he can score if he has too, but he also is great at seeing the floor and making great passes. Very unselfish player... competitive and just wants his team to win.

Like I said before not a good night for the cards..but a win.

Survive and advance; that's the name of the game especially if you're missing a player or two. I was able to catch the last quarter and a half (sorry I missed you, GS) and I agree that while the increased PT for the bench is helpful, Tristian's return will be critical for Clark's chances in the 10th. Clark at full strength will be tough; Knowles outside and Jones inside will be formidable,
