I know in 2005 Butler had a real solid group of frosh. I think they may shock some folks in 2007!

We will find out soon enough. I just hope the Rocks aren't on the short end of one of those shockers. Thumbs up to butler for scheduling Trinity.:thumb:

Trinity will be in a rebuilding year. New QB, need 1/2 OL, only 3 returning starters on defense. X should get the nod......

I like to Lou Holtz "poor mouth" as much as anyone, but I don't think it will fly this year. The Rocks have 7 returning starters (9 if you count kids that started some games). I remember back just a few years ago when the Rocks routinely returned only one or two. Heck, in 2001 they returned none. I just hope the Rocks don't have a repeat of 2004. The similarities are there. Highly ranked preseason, coming off multiple championships without the QB that was the cornerstone of those teams. I think the coaching staff is a little more settled at this point than it was then. I also think the Rocks will get a wake-up call in week three up in Cincy if they have the "big-head". I can't wait, when does 7 on 7 start?

Now that some things have been resolved...I would look for X to open it up a bit more next season (j/k)....but seriously they have some questions to answer, IMO...and next year maybe that chance for them.

Stein will do just fine. I just cant see any other team ending the Rock run at this point. Loads of talent and speed on both sides of the ball.

^ I'll let some others take this one....let's just say that X will be focused as a team of one next season, and that the mission will be a clear and present danger to all of us that go against them

The fact that I think it would have been a good game THIS year doesn't mean I believe for one second that CCH could compete with Trinity and St. X on a year-in year-out basis. So no, I don't think the two things are the same whatsoever. Expecting CCH and HHS to play that far up and accusing them of being "content" to not do it is a bit much IMHO.

What are you talking about? We have played the Ohio D-1 teams before, and are playing Cincy X next season, at X......who should we play, Union, College?

You might want to do a fact check prior to posting. FYI, unlike CC and Highlands the Rocks and Tigers actually win a game with the Cincy teams once in a while.:sssh:
