Not sure Willie ever won this with Brossart? They went to the 5/3rd in '04-'05; however the Mustangs are the reigning AIT champions, having won last year under Mike Code. I think that was their first visit to the AIT, but don't quote me on that. NKY teams have fared very well in recent years, with NCC winning in '04 I believe; and I want to say Campbell made a good run a year or so earlier?

Since we had All "A" in front of us, Willie didn't take Brossart to any Christmas tournaments.

Coach Code takes us to Christmas Tournaments to prepare for the All "A" and to test the waters outside of Northern Kentucky. Difference in philosophies.

Mustangs were 5th/3rd Semi-Finalists under Mike Code in 04-05, beating Clay County and LexCath, losing to Trinity.

Mustangs won the AIT last year in our only appearance, also under Mike Code.

I expect Willie and the Birds to do just fine in Ashland.

Birds over Boyd.

Scratch that, it was Coach Code who won the AIT that year. Getting old, memory loss.:scared:  :sssh:

L.C. - I don't think that it is Old Age that's causing your memory loss. :walk: :walk: :walk:

I know you can expect a very sticky man-man from the Birds. Looks like Eaton and Stewart stepped up against Lakota and dropped 10 pts apiece. If Simpson and Mcgraw are scoring they should be fine. I don't know anythign about Boyd so I don't want to predict anything.

Highlands' Simpson is in a funk I can tell you that so he may be ready for a breakout game.

best of luck BC

Look for BC to take this one,If big Selby stays in the game.

BC-55

Highlands-48

If the refs let them play this will be very physical.I look for Boyd to play well. They are the surprise of the 16th.
