Carbon missed 3rd straight game.  OL Williams hasn’t played a snap yet.  Miller RT goes down tonight and WR Early misses 2nd in a row.  They need some of these back in 2 weeks at Graves.

On the plus side, I'd take the 7th and 8th grade Red Devils against Muhlenberg.

On the negative side, tough to just turn it on and off with Graves a very good team coming soon.

Is what it is I guess.

@Purple88 - yes, but Graves has had to play the same district games too.

Muhlenburg, to their credit has a couple of great athletes - Lovan and Revlett.  Very nice speed.  But I don't think they had 1st down until the varsity was off the field, with the exception of a facemask early in the game.

Owensboro with a green QB who hasn't played a legit threat. The teams he has played have won I believe just two games between the 4. This is not his fault, but experience is always better than inexperience. Owensboro is battling a ton of injuries to key players it seems. Lastly, they must travel to Graves County.

The stars seem to be aligning for the Eagles.

Going to be a good game.  Graves a tough offense to deal with.  Owensboro a lot of playmakers and athletes on both sides.  I hope we are healthy! Getting Carbon back would be huge.  But plenty of threats offensively with Goodwin, Rogers, Pendleton, Barksdale, Taylor and Winstead.  I would love to have Carbon back just for playing safety.

I wish Graves County was closer to Louisville so I could go to this game!
