Henry Clay will make the 3.7 mile trip this Friday night to take on Frederick Douglass. Henry Clay comes into this game 0-4. They are coming off a tough road loss this past Friday at Eastern 42-41.  The Blue Devils has 275 yards rushing and 107 yards passing against Eastern. However they gave up 598 total yards, 297 on the ground and 301 through the air. The Blue Devil offense so far this season is averaging 21 points per game and their defense is giving up 36 points per game. They will need to try and keep the high powered Bronco offense below those numbers.

Frederick Douglass comes into this game at 4-0. This will be the Broncos 5th straight game vs a Lexington City school. The Broncos are averaging 46 points per game while allowing only 6.5 points per game. Frederick Douglass has had three straight 2nd quarter running clocks. The Blue Devils will have their hands full to try and prevent the 4th straight one. Douglass is 3-0 all-time vs. Henry Clay, they have outscored the Blue Devils 77-10 in their 3 previous contest. They did not play last year due to issues with Covid. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30pm at "The Farm" on the Frederick Douglass campus.
