Central Hardin 43 Apollo 14

Featured Replies

Bruins dominate with a balanced passing/running attack. Next up John Hardin. Should be an entertaining and high scoring affair.

Thanks Purple88. Central Hardin has improved in the execution phase of the passing and running game and Sophomore QB Zak Spurrier has shown great potential in passing accuracy and decision making with an added toughness running the ball when the play breaks down. Central Hardin can go 3 deep at the running back position with no noticeable drop off. The next 3 games will truly tell how good Central Hardin really is with John Hardin, Henderson County, and Fern Creek on the schedule.

Final Stats.

Central Hardin:

Rushing Yards: 227

Passing Yards: 114

Total Yards: 341

Apollo:

Rushing Yards: 93

Passing Yards: 218

Total Yards: 311

Looks like CH may be the class of their district.

I think it is too early to tell if Central Hardin will win District 2. The next 3 weeks will certainly go along way in determining just how Good Central Hardin is? That 3 game stretch includes John Hardin, Henderson County and Fern Creek, all tougher competition that what they have faced thus far. The Bruins have improved every game but still need to put 4 quarters of execution on the field together. Central Hardin also sustained an injury to their leading rusher Friday night. The MRI will come on Tuesday for Trayvon William to determine the extent of his injury.
