Wow - DC follows up a 30-0 shellacking of Meade with an impressive win.  I guess DC never called off the dogs as Joe Humphreys went for 567 yards passing and 6 TDS.  DC’s Meade win looks pretty good as the Green Wave beat Etown in week 2.

‘This sets up a showdown between the same city QB’s Wimsatt vs. Humphreys.  Last year was a 42-34 slugfest.  This game will be at DC.

Maybe this would be better for another thread but looking ahead to next week I don’t see it being a thriller like last year. Without DC’s Parm’s ground game to keep the Devils honest all that passing could spell disaster for DC this yr. 

Be on the lookout for the O/DC game thread sometime tomorrow. Wimsatt vs. Humphreys is a hook that should draw a lot of folks in, not just from the Owensboro area, but from all over.

33 for 38 passsing.   ?  That's almost 15 yards per attempt.  

I was singing Humphreys praises last year.  Seems like a fine young man and humble.  He’s a great QB.
