Add in the ridiculous way the RPI is calculated into this as well. Teams are not going to sign up to play a game against a bigger class opponent that they have little to no chance of beating. Also, top level schools in 5A and 6A (almost all of which are located near Bowling Green, Louisville, Northern Kentucky, and Lexington) can get games against quality teams much closer to home without having to make a huge road trip to Paintsville. gchs_uk9 Posted August 1, 2021 Share Posted August 1, 2021 Looks like the out-of-state opponent Johnson Central is hosting on September 17 is Rock Creek Christian Academy from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Calpreps calls it a 62-0 blowout for Johnson Central.
