Rapper DMX died today.  Sounds like he allegedly may have overdose over the weekend causing a massive heart attack, which left him in a coma for multiple days and he succumbed to all of it today.

Listened to him a ton when I was in high school.

If I had to list five things I associate my college experience with, DMX would be nestled between fraternity and study abroad. Also in the top five are peacoats and tequila shots.

This is probably my favorite DMX song.

 

DMX was one of the few artists CD I actually purchased in high school.  Made the fiance listen to it while we were running errands yesterday.  Not sure she realized just how gangsta I was back in the day. ?

I played a couple of song yesterday for my wife and it was crazy how well I still knew the lyrics and I think I ahocked my wife that I used to listen to that.

Lord Give Me A Sign and Slippin' were always two of my favorites.
