Looks like the Louisville head coach has been one of 3 interviewed for the South Carolina head job.

USC isn’t hiring Satterfield. If he indeed interviewed, he’s looking for a pay raise. 

 

 

 

Confusing move unless he has SC ties?  Couldn’t they just get the Coastal Carolina guy who’s essentially what Satterfield was a few years ago?

Often times when coaches say they are not talking to other schools they are telling the truth, it is their agent who is talking to the other school working out details and the coach does not get involved unless the agent gets terms the coach wants.

 

Not saying this is what is happening with Satterfield but the "I'm not talking with other schools right now" needs to be followed up with, "is your agent talking to University of XYZ?" and gauge the coaches response.

So he did interview.... what’s the deal here?
